  How old are you Skyman 7 1/2? You remind me of the elders in the KH, that would give a "Local Needs" part whereby the entire congregation knew who was being talked about, but they didn't come out and name, names on the stage and then used blurry analogies to make their point. Yet the destructive power of their / your words are still there. But the elders and you can hide behind the "Hey I wasn't necessarily talking about THAT person" when in fact EVERYONE knows who is being singled out. Sadly some have much to learn after leaving the Kingdumb Hall.

  Skyman you think this thread is nasty? The nastiest things said have been from you! If I called you a insipid fool for starting this thread, that would be nasty. Completely true. But still nasty.
  
  You say that 99% of us don't "check" her research? LOL. Funny, if she's so darned wrong all the time why don't you debate her on her posts WITHIN said thread hmmm??? Perhaps because she can formulate the stronger argument? Is this why you have to carry out a personal attack thread on her? Can't stick to the facts at hand, but rather use inneundo, gossip, and back-biting? You sir, are the height of hypocrisy to call others nasty on this thread when you have started this thread for character assassination. Shame on you.

  it seems as though many people come to this board and leave in a short space of time.. it's a pity.. there are people on this board who are very nice and polite even when discussing various views.

  this leads to understanding and concern.

  i would like to meet you people.. please post in here.. i term nice as being kind, not cursing, love for god almighty, thrives on the right things in life, not hurting other's feelings, etc.. blessed star

  What I find to be NICE, is people who RESPECT others lives, and take Jesus' words to heart to live and let live. Not constantly god mobbing a board, with inciteful, hateful post towards people of a certain persuasion. I also think NICE people when confronted with a woman lying in the street would not merely step over her, grab a taxi cab, and speed off only to say to themselves "What more could I have done".
  
  See I find REAL LIFE ACTS to be nice. Not merely pleasantries on an internet discussion board to be considered "NICE".

  I for one appreciate all the hard work you put into your posts. The other day on the Kolkin bible, it was nice to read your take on it. I surmised the book was a fakery from the get go, but your post helped me conclude it in fact wasn't what it claimed to be. This is why I like JWD. So many of us have backgrounds in so many different things. While I do not agree with some of the "heavy hitters" and their opinions, it is always nice to hear them. I defer to some of these posters on matters I have lower interest or experience with. I can offer my insights into eastern religions and resulting spirituality. As a group we surely have a much deeper grasp on history, spirituality, education, world events, and whatnot than the WTBS ever did! We are the sum of our pieces / parts. A piece on it's own may not be "worth" much, but as a cog in a giant machine, it is an invaluable component.
  
  Keep up the good work Leo, as I read about 75% of your posts when I come across them. There are times when I'm simply too busy to get a chance to read them, but I do print some out, read them later at home or when I'm eating lunch or something. Please don't alter your style. Thanks for all your hard work.

  my head is killing me and i'm at work till seven, who else is here today thats willing to talk to me so i can make it through the day and not fall asleep?

  Many times a remark on a certain thread reflects an opinion carried over from another thread. I've noticed a couple of posters who have a history of engaging in some nasty undertones, and spread it across 5 threads, (both gay and muslim topics) and then claim they are only bringing up an alternative point. I will call this behavior out. A PATTERN of hate and insensitive remarks deserve to be treated as such, and one can't complain when remarks are returned in a similar fashion.
  
  Also, if one is too thin skinned to take any critique or sarcatic remarks then I suggest you post at a sychophant board, not a DISCUSSION board. I find it highly amusing when people belly ache, and kvetch about how the board is, or various posters styles. Don't like them? Don't read them. I don't know how many threads I've seen where people have posted to a thread with content similar to "I don't know why there are so many fluff threads like these, they bother me to no end......blah, blah, blah". Why do people feel compelled to click on an uninteresting topic, read it, then post to it, and keep following it? Mustn't be that dull then?
  
  Excuse me but this is NOT the Kingdumb Hall anymore. If you post an insipid remark. Prepare to be called on it. If you merely want someone to give you a cyber hug, self affirmation, or listen to yourself pontificate then find a mirror and blather away.
